School Supply and Book Collections

Our congregation is in a special partnership with McDermott Elementary School of Little Rock, which is just up the street from us on Reservoir Rd. Once a year we do a large collection of school supplies, based on the lists for students, and then we bless them in our worship service, before giving them to the school to be distributed by teachers. 

Additionally, we take opportunities to do special projects on behalf of McDermott, such as partnering with Presbyterian Village across the street from us, in collecting a new book for every child in the school, via financial donations--together we were able to not only purchase a new book for every child, but many additional books for the school, and meet some of their extra needs!
